Homework For December 14-18

1. Please return this homework sheet signed on Tuesday, December 15th

2. Please bring your sunglasses

3. Please bring your white elephant gift

4. Please bring your things for the Gingerbread House

5. AR reading - Students will read for 30 minutes every night (Monday through Thursday) in their AR book. Record on your reading log (on the back of the Homework Sheet) the name of the book, the author, a short comment and an opinion using complete sentences with captial letters and periods. 

Extra Credit Choices:

  • Make a poster with pictures and information about any place in the world 
  • Make a poster with pictures and information about an explorer
  • Create a Power Point Slide Presentation about an explorer
  • Do extra Accelerated Math packets 
  • Write a song, poem, or rap to help you remember the multiplcation/division facts 
  • Create a Power Point Slide show about any place in the world
  • Create a Power Point Slide show about anything that fascinates you 
  • List all of the prime numbers up to 100

  • Practice keyboarding at http://typing.psd401.net
  • Practice keyboarding by typing "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." This sentence uses all of the letters in the alphabet.
  • Practice cursive
  • Play a strategy game with someone at home. Write an explanation (expository) paragraph explaining with whom you played, what happened during the game, the outcome, and what you learned
  • Make up math problems and solve them
  • Cook or bake something at home - write an explanation about what you made, how you used fractions and what you learned
  • Write a song, story, or poem
