Welcome to the Community of Gig Harbor. Gig Harbor began as a small fishing village
in 1867. The "Harbor" as it is commonly known still has many active fishing vessels.
The Gig Harbor basin is located on a peninsula in Pierce County which extends into Puget Sound.
You access the "Harbor" via the Narrows Bridge from Tacoma, Washington.
Gig Harbor has one of the finest views in the Puget Sound area.
